Idle Development was a team of developers that built Discord bots, tools and game-hosting services. It no longer operates. This site keeps a record of what it was and who was part of it.

No longer active
Idle Development is not an active team, company or service provider. It does not take customers, orders or support requests. Idley Host has closed, and the Idley Pro migration to Skyfallen Cloud is no longer available. Skyfallen is a separate company that still exists.
Everything on this site is a historical record.

The history of Idle Development
- 2018
Idle Development is founded
Idle Development was co-founded by Floffah, Triassic and Husnain. The team began by building automated tools, Discord bots and casual clicker-style games.
- Growing team
New members join
Reverso joined later, followed by Aigars, and then Yigit of Skyfallen.
- 2019
JeekieHost acquired
Idle Development acquired the hosting brand JeekieHost.
- Early days
Sponsored by FalixNodes
In its early days the team was sponsored by FalixNodes, a well-known game server host.
- May 2020
Idley Host launches
Idley Host opened as an extension of Idle Development, offering free, 24/7 Minecraft and Discord bot hosting, with Idley Pro as its premium tier. It grew quickly and became known for reliable game speeds.
- Late 2020
First shutdown
Demand outgrew the infrastructure. With heavy server costs, DDoS attacks and little income, the team suspended Idley Host. JeekieHost closed during this first closure.
- Early 2021
Idley Host re-opens
The team restructured and re-opened Idley Host, looking for more sustainable infrastructure.
- Alongside
Idle Bee Farm
Idle Bee Farm ran as a community project from the team.
- Late 2021
Final closure
Free hosting stayed too costly to sustain, and Idley Host closed for good. Idley Pro was migrated to Skyfallen Cloud. That Skyfallen Cloud migration is no longer available.

A legacy
Idle Development is retired and its members moved on to other work. This page is what remains.
Our site in early 2021 reported around 7,500 Discord members, 7 projects and over 10,500 servers hosted.

Our values
Transparent, honest and fair
However the projects ended, this is how we tried to run them, and what we want Idle Development to be remembered for.
Honest
We said what we could and could not deliver, and we owned our mistakes and our closures instead of hiding them.
Fair
We treated our users, partners and each other fairly, and when Idley Pro closed we moved its customers to a new home instead of leaving them behind.

What we built, and who we worked with
Idley Host
Free and low-cost game server hosting, started in May 2020 and known for reliable game speeds. Closed.
Idley Pro
The premium Idley Host tier. When Idley closed, Idley Pro was migrated to Skyfallen Cloud, but that migration is no longer available.
JeekieHost
A hosting brand acquired by Idle Development in 2019. It closed during the first closure of Idley Host.
Idle Bee Farm
A Discord bot listed on top.gg, and a community project from the team.
Idle Bot List
A bot list built to encourage developers to care more about advertising their bots.
Ferolix
A private ticket bot that supported a company with over 40,000 clients.
Fleco
A project from the Idle Development team.
Skyfallen
Affiliated with Idle Development. Idley Pro was migrated to Skyfallen Cloud when Idley closed. Its CEO, Yigit, was also part of the Idle Development team. Skyfallen is still an existing company, but the Idley Pro migration to Skyfallen Cloud is no longer available.
